GIMC (Gruppo Italiano di Meccanica Computazionale) and SIMAI (Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industriale) are glad to announce that their first joint workshop for young scientists (≤ 35-year-old) will take place in Pavia on September 29-30, 2022:

The meeting aims at providing participants with a platform to exchange their most recent results, to keep up-to-date on new trends and to foster their interactions. The program includes two plenary lectures delivered by leading scientists, a session dedicated to the recipients of the GIMC-SIMAI young awards, parallel thematic sessions organized by the participants, as well as contributed sessions. Contributions are welcome from all areas of applied mathematics and computational mechanics.

The initiative is also supported by the ECCOMAS Young Investigators Committee. 

The Workshop will be in-person only and will be cancelled if this condition is not guaranteed by Italian Government rules.
In case of cancellation of the workshop, participants can request a refund or keep the registration for the next edition.
