I gruppi AIMETA GBMA, GIMC e GMA annunciano l'evento congiunto:
Giovani alla Ricerca - GBMA, GIMC e GMA si incontrano on-line.
L'evento, dal carattere informale e seminariale, si svolgerà (con accesso libero e gratuito) su piattaforma Microsoft Teams, nei giorni 7 e 8 giugno 2021.
La situazione pandemica degli ultimi mesi ha determinato un profondo e paradigmatico cambiamento nel modo di esercitare i rapporti sociali e professionali, variando anche le modalità di attuazione dei percorsi di formazione e di cooperazione scientifica. Giovani alla Ricerca muove quindi dalla volontà di dare spazio e parola ai ricercatori più giovani dei tre gruppi, offrendo loro - seppur a distanza - un'occasione di visibilità, di confronto, e di discussione critica. In particolare, l’incontro permetterà di presentare alla comunità scientifica le migliori Tesi di Dottorato conclusesi nel biennio...

ANIV Award 2020
Dear Colleagues,
The Italian Association for Wind Engineering is calling for candidatures for ANIV Award 2020, to be remitted to a young researcher, Author of a scientific paper in the broad field of Wind Engineering, and published in an international journal from January 1st 2018 to December 31st 2019.
Candidatures should be submitted no later than June 30th 2020.

Webinar on Truss Structures, Unisa - Georgia Tech April 20, 2020, 4.00 pm (CET)

An educational webinar on the design, the mechanical modeling and the failure analysis in the large strain regime of truss structures will be held on April 20, 2020 at 4,00 pm (CET) within the course of Structural Mechanics for the degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Salerno. The webinar will be conducted with the participation of professor Julian J. Rimoli from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta), and will make use of the educational software Truss Me! available for smartphone and tablets.
